How to Know If He Likes You

Determining when a man does not like you is easy, but knowing when he does is almost impossible. Men are good at hiding their emotions. Men can act like faucets and completely turn on or off their feelings because they are protective of their egos. Men are so conscious of their reputation they don’t want to appear vulnerable or helpless—especially for a girl. If you are a girl trying to determine if a certain guy likes you, there are several methods you can employ.

• The surest way to tell if a guy likes you is if he tells you himself. But if he didn’t, maybe he told his friends or your girl friends. Men are like girls in a way; that is, when they like someone, they tell someone they trust about how they feel. Their feelings could be intensified, and having someone to share it with becomes an outlet for them.

• He makes fun of you. Do not be offended unless the joke really is offensive. Guys typically don’t know how to react or what to say to the girl they like, so they end up making silly remarks and jokes. Guys want to be funny and want to make a girl laugh by being funny.

• He hangs out with your friends. Do not be suspicious when you find him lingering around your girl friends. He sees your girl friends as your closest connection and his closest way to get to you. He might be fishing for details about the things you like and or your interests.

• He constantly stares at you. If you catch him always staring at you and looking away afterwards, then that might be a good sign. Men are inclined to look at something beautiful or something that interests them because they are visually oriented. It is also a good sign if he smiles back at you after you caught him staring.

• He lets you in his personal space. If he tells you something really personal or invites you to a special place or a place that has significant meaning for him, chances are he might be interested in you. Guys will let a girl into their bubble only if they like her. Calling you and telling you something important and personal could also be a good sign. Calling you after he got a promotion or to tell you his parents got back together are positive signs.

• He remembers the little things. Guy may tend to forget a lot of things, but he is sure to remember every little thing regarding a girl he really likes. You might mention a favorite food or TV show, and then find that he mentions it during a conversation. He wants you to know he remembers even the little details about you.
