How to Write a Job Transfer Letter

The business format is followed for job transfer letter also. The letter should be in the block style and no intending of the paragraphs. Steps to follow:

In the top left portion, write the date when the letter is being written, now give a double space and write your name if you are the sender else write the sender’s name. Below this include the details of your present job. In the next line write the name of the person who receives the letter giving a double space and his position.

Start with salutations such as ‘respected sir’ and then below it write the body content of the letter. The body content of the letter must start with a reason which is making you to ask for the job transfer. The body of the letter must be in the requesting format.

In the second paragraph, tell about your personal skills, about your education qualification and your experience. If you have any special skills don’t forget to include them. Here you must tell about yourself that you are efficient for the job transfer. You can also add the trainings you completed this will make the superior to think about you during the job transfer.

Coming to the third paragraph, here you must tell about the present job and give the superior that who can manage the present job which you are seeing and note him that you will give training to that employee so that no vacancy could be created in the company.

Finally tell about yourself in the new job, state him clearly that you will deserve for the new job you get. And tell the superior that you are ready to undergo all the necessary trainings for the new job which you need.

After this give a double space and write the enclosure ‘sincerely yours’ etc. Give enough space for the signature. Below this indicate your name fully and the present designation in the company.
