How to Make a Great Cheeseburger

I could no longer count the number of hamburgers I have eaten over the years, most of them cheeseburgers, my favorite! The combination of cheese and beef is delightfully delicious with an almost primal taste.

I have known several restaurants which have made hamburgers truly worth eating. The way they prepare is especially satisfying and a real treat, not like the ones we can buy from most fast foods. But then, of all the burgers that I have tasted in my entire life, the one that I personally prepared are the best by far.

Making your basic burger is very simple. Just follow this recipe for the preparation and you’ll find that it’s not just easy but cheaper too. Plus, you can add whatever topping you want and it will be better than anything sold at fast food places.

How to Make a Great Cheeseburger

What You’ll Need

  • 4 hamburger buns
  • 4 slices cheese (Swiss or cheddar)
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • Ketchup, pickles, onions, relish, mustard (whatever works best for you)

Instructions

  1. Divide the ground beef into four equal parts then shape these portions into patties. Place a skillet on medium heat and fry the hamburgers. Cook the patties for 4 minutes for every side.
  2. You can toast the buns if you want then place them on a plate. Place the burger patties on the buns, followed by the sliced cheese and your favorite toppings. You can also directly add the cheese to the patty while still frying on the pan in order to melt. You can do so during the last 90 seconds of frying the patties.
