Generally it is common that every baby cries ant that is the only mode of expressing their pain or hunger. This may sound irritating to the old age people and other neighbors and may find it disturbing. Also if the babies keep on crying for a long time we may forget how to console it and all other works will go in vain. In order to pacify our baby from crying we need to check the following things are kept normal.
Procedure:
- Very firstly we must periodically check if the diaper is wet, if it is so, we must instantly change it. If it is left unnoticed it may result in rashes and wounds so proper care must be kept in changing the diapers. This may be one of the reason for her crying and necessary care must be given on this issue.
- Never forget to feed the baby on time. Because it is not necessary that the baby must be fed only at fixed times, this is because the growth of the baby is rapid at certain months and it may need higher nutritive food during those stages. But once it is grown it may not require mother’s feeding and may use feeding bottles.
- Most common reason for baby crying is due to gas. Once when a baby is fed immediately she must be laid over the shoulders and patted till she burps. This is the best way to stop her crying but it must be done with patience until she stops crying. Also necessary medicine as advised by the elderly people at home or the family physician must be given.
- If all the above steps are carried out and even then she doesn’t stop her cry, then it may be also true to insecurity. Just wrap the baby in a sari or a blanket and rock her so that she may feel the mothers care. Also a good lullaby can help her to feel good. Take her to some colorful places or some calm environment that may pacify her and stop her tears.
- Another important thing is that make yourself calm and happy while feeding the baby because it is not only the food which is fed but also our emotions too. Another important thing is that family problems or arguments between parents must be avoided infront of her. If all the above mentioned things are checked then it is easy to stop the baby from crying. Even if the baby’s cry seems to be hurting for her, but in real it is not so.
