How To Choose Bananas

Bananas are liked by most people. It is easily digested by almost everyone. Bananas are the source of potassium. It contains more potassium than any other fruit. It is yellow in color. Monkey’s favorite fruit is banana, because of this they get high potassium and are healthy. Human can also get the highest source of potassium. Here comes the difficulty. One must be careful in selecting the bananas. They should not be too ripe or too green.

And you can enjoy the real taste of bananas by looking up to these tips:

Select the bananas according to your purpose of usage and time of usage: Bananas which are already fully ripe will become overripe very quickly and which are still basically green will get ripped slowly over a period of time. For cooking, such as banana pudding, you can choose ripe bananas if you buy only the amount you need for the recipe, and use them in short order. For eating daily, choose a bunch of bananas that show signs of ripening, preferably with some very nearly ripe to be eaten shortly after they are bought some greener ones which will ripen in a few days to be eaten then.

Buy only needed numbers: Buy only the number of bananas which you will consume before they become overripe. You can go for this, by making an idea from your past purchases and own experience.

Look at the outer presence: Look for bananas with no brown spots or obvious signs of handling damage. Also, you may want to check for debris on their skins.

Buying bananas of different stages of bananas: Buy bananas in smaller bunches at various stages of ripeness. This is an useful tip, because you can eat them as they ripen in the following days.

Do not refrigerate bananas. Black marks will appear for bananas kept inside the refrigerator. Those marks are nothing to do with its quality and it has no sign of being rotten. Bananas can’t be prevented from some black or brown marks by handling it carefully. Store them at a moderate to some cool temperature. Make sure you keep it out of direct sunlight.

Break up large bunches if a small bunch is all you need and none are available. And don’t ever buy bananas which has very strong smell.

Yellow bananas are considered to be perfectly ripped. They are of sweet taste. They have softer skin and even softer fruit.
