How to Get Slim Thighs


Exercise is not a quick fix solution to a weight problem such as fat thighs. Yes. It helps to improve the long term work-rate of the body. A balanced approach is the best way to help remove the fat from the thigh region. Aerobic exercises provide more efficient way of reducing thighs than spending hours in the gym. The best “lower body toning” moves are the squats and lunges.

Make sure you get in some cardio three to four times per week for 30-45 minutes as well to help you lose body fat. Cut back on the carbs and get a good thigh slimming-eating plan. It is time tested and has helped hundreds of thousands just like you slim down quick.

Do a series of exercises that work your inner-thigh muscles (adductors) with minimal     hip-flexor involvement, progressively increasing the resistance and stabilization challenge to activate maximum muscle fibers.

Individually, the inner-thigh muscles are the adductors magnus, brevis and longus; the gracilis; and the pectineus. The adductors move your legs across the midline of your body. They also help stabilize the movements of your legs and pelvis when you walk, run, stand, climb or lunge.

A few steps to get your thighs back in shape:

Step 1:

Work the entire area of the thigh when working out. Work the inner, side, front, back and buttocks. Exercises such as the bicycle, leg lifts, leg slides, squeezing a stability ball and leg raises help slim the thighs.

Step 2:

Reduce the amounts of carbohydrates and fats in your diet. If you notice that your thighs store fat, then any excess fat from food and drink will go straight to your thighs. Drink more water, eat more fruits and vegetables, drink skim milk, low fat dressings and fat free cream cheese and other cream based products.

Step 3:

Begin a walking routine. Walking helps slim down the body overall and won’t bulk up your leg muscles like jogging will.

Step 4:

Try cellulite creams that break down fat composition in the body and give your legs a slimmer appearance. New research suggests that creams which contain caffeine help slim thighs and improve the appearance of your legs.

Step 5:

Spread on self tanner, giving your thighs an extra layer. Tanned skin automatically appears slimmer than pale skin, and self tanner helps give the illusion that your legs are slimmer than they really are.

Step 6:

Call a plastic surgeon and talk to them about liposuction. This option is good for people who have already lost a lot of weight but need help getting rid of cellulite or extra flab. This is also good for people who are naturally thin but struggle with saddlebags or flabby inner thighs.
