How to Get Romp by Eating Less

Your body uses food for energy. It stores any excess energy as fat. This means if you eat more food than your body needs for daily activities and cell maintenance, you will gain weight.

To lose weight, you need to get your body to use up these stores of fat. The most effective way to do this is to:

  • Reduce the amount of calories you eat
  • Increase your levels of activity.

This is why experts talk about weight loss in terms of diet and exercise.

Reducing calorie intake:

If you’re overweight, you can’t continue with your current eating habits if you really want to lose weight.

It’s not possible to reduce body fat while eating lots of food, cakes and sweets. This doesn’t mean you can never have any treats, but you need to learn how to limit these foods to small quantities – say, for special occasions.

In terms of weight-loss, you can get your body to use up existing stores of fat by eating less and making healthier choices.

This doesn’t mean crash diet (anything less than 1500 calories), which usually ends up with you either getting weaker or giving up in desperation. Quick-fix diets can lead to a yo-yoing effect of drastic weight loss followed by weight gain, resulting in a vicious cycle.

Going to gyms won’t help in burning one’s carbs when additional fat content is provided through eating junk food. There are a few steps on how one can snuggle into the perfect attires without spending time in the gym;

Step 1:

If you have been eating in excess, it can sometimes be hard to take control of your eating habits. One great way is to not keep so many unhealthy foods around the house. Typically if they are there, you may be tempted to eat them.

Step 2:

Don’t wait too long to eat. When you wait to long, you try to make up for the time that you didn’t eat and end up over indulging.

Step 3:

Don’t go shopping hungry. I have noticed many times when I go grocery shopping, I tend to buy more than I need. Once you have purchased all the food and have it in the house, you won’t want it to go to waste.

Step 4:

Trying eating some foods that allow portion control .For example, instead of buying a box of cereal, try purchasing the set that comes with 10 small boxes of cereal. That way you know exactly how much you are having and won’t be as tempted to pour another bowl.

Step 5:

Tell a friend that you want to eat less. That way that person can hold you accountable and help you with food decisions.

Step 6:

When going out to eat, order something but try to eat only half there. Then bring the other home and have the other half for another meal. That way you can still eat out as you please and you will not be over eating. Also you will have another meal later that you won’t have to repurchase.
